鳴子系こけしの柿澤眞理子工人から届いたなでしこ模様のえじここけしです。丁寧に描かれたお顔も花模様もかわいらしいこけしです。

◆柿澤眞里子（鳴子こけし）
1940年生まれ
こけし工人柿澤是隆と結婚後、1971年より木地修行を始め1981年よりこけしを製作している。
一時中断の後、2016年よりこけし製作を再開。
師匠は、夫柿澤是隆。

This is a mini Ejiko kokeshi doll, by Mariko KAKIZAWA 柿澤眞理子(1940-) who is a Naruko style kokeshi craftsperson in Miyagi prefecture of Tohoku, Japan.

Especially for women kokeshi craftsperson, there are two kinds of working styles. The ones who make every process of the doll even carving wood. The others paint only. Mariko is the former.
She said in the ‘Traditional kokeshi artist file’ book that she respects the old Naruko kokeshi, which were closer to children more than the kokeshi nowadays. And she hopes to make the warm expression that the old kokeshi dolls have. This is a cute and lovely doll as she said.
The flower on the body is pink.

Style: Naruko 鳴子系
She was born in 1940. She got married to Koretaka Kakizawa who was a kokeshi craftsman. She started learning wood work from 1971 and making kokeshi dolls from 1981 under the guidance of her husband.
She stopped making kokeshi dolls for a moment. But in 2016, when she was devastated after her husband died, her son Yoshinobu (who is a kokeshi craftsman) suggested she makes kokeshi again.
