風に舞うもみじに秋を感じるこけしです。

1987年より祖父・謙次郎、父・謙一に師事し、現在に至る

平賀こけし店4代目、作並こけし8代目

This is a momiji-autumn leaves kokeshi doll, by HIRAGA, Teruyuki who is a Sakunami style kokeshi craftsman.

There are some kokeshi dolls, on which maple leaves are painted in other part of the Tohoku region, however, he painted his kokeshi as if she is enjoying a walk around colored leaves. (we call it 'momijigari' in Japan, which means enjoying seeing and walking around colored leaves in the mountain or elsewhere.)
