作並系こけしの平賀輝幸工人から届いた、こたつ猫のえじこです。
こたつに入る猫、ねずみと一緒に卓上で寝転ぶ猫と、さまざまにこたつでくつろぐ猫たちです。
2～3寸のこけしをお持ちでしたら、ぜひテーブルに。一緒にリラックスタイムを楽しめることと思います。
木地の色合いの異なる箇所は素材由来のものです。木の風合いをお楽しみください。

We would like to enjoy a kotastu with cute cats!

This is a kotastu neko kokeshi figurine, by HIRAGA Teruyuki who is a Sakunami style kokeshi craftsman.

‘Neko’ means ‘cat’ in Japanese. ‘Kotatsu’ is a table with an electric heater on the underside of the table. It is used with a comforter-futon to trap the warm air.

Three cats are enjoying the kotatsu and a cat is laying on the table with a mouse. It looks a heartwarming and peaceful winter scene.

If you have a mini kokeshi doll, please set it on the table. Your kokeshi can join this relaxing time!

Because of the annual wood ring, there is a brown colored part on the kokeshi. Kokeshi are made from natural wood, when you are tired of the industrial world, this irregular kokeshi will melt your heart.
